Job summary

Rose Medical is seeking an Engineering Intern to translate classroom knowledge into real-world, hands-on projects within a medical device manufacturing environment.

You will work with experienced engineers on product development, process improvements, prototype builds, and documentation. This role offers growth, practical manufacturing exposure, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful medical technology.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, preferably with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Natural problem-solver who enjoys asking questions, analyzing information, and finding creative solutions.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel, with an interest in developing additional technical skills.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • A team player who communicates effectively, welcomes feedback, and collaborates with others.

Responsibilities

  • Get hands-on with engineering projects. Support our Project Engineering team with new product development and improvements to existing manufacturing processes.
  • Turn data into solutions. Collect and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and support engineering decisions.
  • Bring ideas to life. Participate in early prototype builds and production runs, gaining firsthand experience with how medical devices move from concept to manufacturing.
  • Learn the ins and outs of manufacturing. Assist with developing and maintaining process and tooling documentation.
  • Put your problem-solving skills to work. Support basic process validation activities, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals. Work alongside our engineering and manufacturing teams, ask questions, share ideas, and learn from people who love what they do.
  • Explore new challenges. Take on additional projects and responsibilities that help you develop your skills and gain valuable experience.

What You'll Be Doing
