Job summary

Agtegra Cooperative in Aberdeen, SD seeks Engineering Interns for the summer of 2027. The Engineering Interns will support the Operations Team in testing, analyzing, and improving equipment and processes, gaining hands-on experience through real-world agricultural engineering projects.

The internship offers site visits across locations, exposure to reliability improvements, root cause analysis, safety compliance, and collaboration with industry professionals, helping develop practical skills

Qualifications

• Enrollment toward relevant engineering degree.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develop and properly execute a variety of engineering projects, involving but not limited to, equipment and asset reliability, design improvements, failure modes identification, and root cause analysis.
• Conduct detailed studies on current equipment functionality, including traveling to various sites as required.
• Review current processes and seek solutions using process optimization and improvement utilizing problem solving techniques, and engineering tools and principles.
• Assist and support capital and environmental, health and safety project development and execution.
• Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY
