Job summary

OSU-Cascades invites applications for fixed-term, non-tenure-track Instructor positions to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2026-2027 academic year in Bend, Oregon. Appointments may include renewal options at the Dean's discretion.

Start dates include December 16 or March 16, with potential for annual review. The primary mission is undergraduate education across standard engineering disciplines, with responsibilities spanning teaching, course design, and student advising.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the listed fields (or related) is required.
• PhD or terminal degree in one of the listed fields is preferred.
• Experience teaching at college/university level and designing/assessing courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach course(s) term-by-term in Energy Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Administer and teach courses, complete assessments, and improve teaching effectiveness.
• Advise and mentor students; maintain office hours and manage records and grades.
