Job summary

Ruveon in Muscatine, IA is seeking candidates for its Engineering Development Program focused on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production. You will work with machines and control systems, perform changeovers, and participate in safety and process improvements.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred) and ability to read P&ID and flow diagrams are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
• Ability to read and understand process flow diagrams, line drawings, P&ID and schematics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong teamwork and inclusive culture.
• Ability to analyze problems and think independently; make timely decisions.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage pressure.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across the site through rotations and collaborate with technicians and leadership to drive customer satisfaction.
• Assist operations in achieving unit performance goals related to safety, quality, waste minimization, capacity, reliability, and cost.
• Engage in project scoping and implementation interfacing with process control, environmental and utility services.
• Track and monitor process/unit KPIs and support investigations into performance issues.
• Maintain and develop operating documentation (SOPs, process descriptions, P&IDs) and participate in plant trials to enhance performance.
