Job summary

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software or algorithm engineering, 3+ years in leadership, and strong experience in C++, Python, and real-time systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development and/or algorithm engineering.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience with navigation systems, robotics, imaging systems, autonomous technologies, or other advanced engineering applications.
• Strong software development background with proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Real-time software systems; experience with software architecture, system design, and product development.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

We are seeking an experienced Group Engineering Manager, Algorithms & Software to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing next-generation surgical navigation solutions.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development and/or algorithm engineering.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience with navigation systems, robotics, imaging systems, autonomous technologies, or other advanced engineering applications.
• Strong software development background with proficiency in:
• C++

• Real-time software systems
• Experience with software architecture, system design, and product development.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred

• PhD in a related technical discipline.
• Experience in surgical navigation, medical imaging, computer vision, or image processing.
• Knowledge of 3D reconstruction, tracking systems, and registration algorithms.
• Experience with Qt and QML development.
• Background in robotic-assisted technologies, augmented reality, or healthcare technology.
• Familiarity with regulated product development environments.
