Job summary

Adobe seeks a Senior Engineering Leader to own the technical strategy for Adobe Marketing platforms across multiple crews. You will ensure scalable, secure, and enterprise-ready solutions while shaping architectural standards and patterns.

You will coach senior engineers and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Security to maintain governance without delaying delivery, driving modern practices from API-first design to CI/CD and cloud-native patterns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with depth in enterprise platforms or complex distributed systems.
• Proven track record leading multiple engineering teams delivering large-scale platforms.
• Strong hands-on background with modern web architectures, APIs, cloud platforms, and integration patterns.
• Ability to act as technical authority and guide teams through ambiguity.
• Experience in regulated, security-conscious environments with governance requirements.
• Prefer familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud and related enterprise digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and execution for Adobe Marketing platforms across multiple crews, ensuring scalable, secure, and enterprise-ready solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical decision authority for Adobe-related engineering, including architecture patterns and integration strategies.
• Drive modern engineering practices across Adobe development (API-first design, event-driven integrations, CI/CD, cloud-native patterns).
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Security to ensure compliance and data protection without slowing delivery.
• Lead and grow ~6 Adobe-focused engineering crews with clear technical direction and execution discipline.
• Ensure alignment to a shared target architecture and incremental delivery toward that vision.
• Balance platform evolution with near-term delivery commitments and manage dependencies and risks.
