The Product Engineer executes new product development projects and maintains existing product lines per engineering instructions.

Your responsibilities and tasks:

Performs design calculations and component selections for new product development and existing product upgrades.

Ensures that standard products are designed within code and safety standards, quality standards, reliability standards and compliance standards.

Provides necessary standard product documentation for customer/shop requirements and subsequent follow-up assistance as required.

Works with drafters to implement standard product development projects, maintenance and design changes.

Provides standard product engineering support for Service, Warranty, Sales and Project Engineering departments.

Develops and maintains support documentation and instructional literature for standard product lines.

Maintains integrity of standard engineering bill of material and part number systems.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Your profile and qualifications:

B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering

0-10 years of experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detailed oriented

Strong technical and analytical skills

Ability to problem solve and resolve issues

Well-developed interpersonal skills

Provide on-time delivery of drawings, BOMs, and documentation to internal and external customers.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $64,500.00 - $86,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
