Job summary

University of Delaware is seeking a Director of College Facilities Planning to lead the COE facilities planning and renovation programs. You will manage budgets, coordinate with UD Facilities PPD & M&O, and serve as the principal liaison for space planning and capital projects across multiple campuses.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field and strong financial, strategic, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline; six years of relevant experience preferred.
Financial management skills and ability to prepare budgets and projections.
Experience with space planning, design review, and coordination with facilities operations.

Responsibilities

Direct facilities planning and renovation efforts for College of Engineering facilities totaling ~332,000 sq ft.
Lead Facilities Team and coordinate with departments and technicians on space utilization and project delivery.
Review designs, budgets, and schedules; ensure compliance with safety and university policies.
Manage leases, renovations, and fit-out of spaces; oversee asset management and capital projects.
Represent the College in planning, design, and turnover of new or renovated spaces.
