Job summary

The University of Delaware seeks a Director of College Facilities Planning to lead facilities management for the College of Engineering. This role directs renovation projects, oversees a $12M annual facilities budget, and serves as liaison with UD Facilities and other departments to ensure safe, efficient spaces across 332,000 square feet of campus and leased space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Six years of experience in construction or facilities management.
• Background in business administration and strong financial oversight.
• Ability to analyze financial data, budget, and plan long-range goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct facilities planning for the College of Engineering and renovation initiatives.
• Manage annual facilities budget and financial projections.
• Coordinate with UD Facilities, M&O, Public Safety, EHS, and other teams.
• Lead a team of professionals and manage space planning across campus.
