About Charm

Our mission is to return the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO₂. We convert excess inedible biomass into carbon‑rich bio‑oil and inject it into underground storage for permanent carbon removal. At scale, we can use bio‑oil to make fossil‑free iron.

About the Role

As a Fabricator & Assembly Technician at our Fort Lupton campus, you’ll join a driven and highly technical team responsible for fabricating pyrolyzer components and supporting the assembly and commissioning of new pyrolysis systems. This specific fabrication role will provide critical and unique welding and fabrication skills to make engineering designs come to life with deep collaboration with design engineers and operations staff. Working with fellow Charmers, vendors, and occasional third parties, you’ll be directly contributing to new designs and iterative design improvement on existing equipment.

You’re a great candidate for this role if you have experience with engineering drawing interpretation, metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and are an excellent communicator and creative problem solver. The ideal candidate is safety‑mindful, proactive, confident using machine tools and welding, and is able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks on a day‑to‑day basis.

This role will report to our Engineering Technician Lead in Fort Lupton within the Engineering Department.
