Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management seeks a Part-Time Faculty member to teach EEE 630 – Engineering Entrepreneurship for Spring 2027. The course focuses on commercializing new technologies into startup ventures, combining engineering insight with entrepreneurial practice.

The instructor will prepare lectures and assignments, maintain campus office hours, and grade student work, collaborating with the EEE department to deliver a rigorous on-campus experience throughout the spring

Qualifikationen

• Experience in the commercialization of new technologies into start-up ventures.

Aufgaben

• Must be available and willing to teach on campus
• Must be available during existing course times that meet throughout the spring semester
• Preparation of lectures, projects, and other student assignments in collaboration with the EEE department
• Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours
• Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance level of the course
• Meeting all designated class periods
• Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to university regulations and school/college policies
• Providing departmentally sanctioned form for completing student evaluations
• Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner
• Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty members
• Other responsibilities as indicated
