LUX dynamics is a Reno-based manufacturer of high-performance LED fixtures seeking a Production Manager with an engineering background. The role focuses on safe, efficient production and cross-functional collaboration to meet financial and operational goals.

The ideal candidate has a strong systems mindset, a track record of scaling operations, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while leading with technical clarity and grit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent leadership experience.
• 5+ years of production/manufacturing leadership in a systems-driven environment.
• Strong safety, scheduling, and process management background.
• Ability to interpret EBITDA and cost structures to align operations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and production reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Safety & compliance: ensure OSHA standards and safety practices are met.
• Production planning: maintain rolling 30-day and 7-day schedules.
• Operational management: monitor production metrics and take corrective actions.
• Cross-department collaboration: coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Engineering.
• Financial impact: understand production costs and EBITDA impact, manage budgets.
• Leadership & communication: lead staff and present solutions to leadership.
