Job summary

MB Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand in Muncy, is seeking an Engineering Draftsman to support the engineering team in creating, revising, and maintaining fabrication, weldment, and manufacturing drawings. Proficiency in Creo and AutoCAD, plus BOM management, is required.

The role involves ensuring drawings meet drafting standards, GD&T, and manufacturing requirements, updating BOMs in the ERP/PDM system, and collaborating with design and production teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Draftsman, CAD Technician, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience creating and revising weldment, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
• Proficiency in Creo and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manufacturing prints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain engineering drawings using Creo and AutoCAD.
• Review and correct fabrication, weldment, assembly, and detail drawings.
• Update and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the ERP/PDM system.
• Ensure engineering prints comply with drafting standards, GD&T principles, and manufacturing requirements.
• Revise drawings based on Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Work closely with design engineers, manufacturing, welding, and production teams to resolve drawing issues.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, weld symbols, and material specifications.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor

Engineering Draftsman
