This role will focus on creating detailed technical drawings, supporting product development efforts, and assisting with documentation processes.**Responsibilities*** Provide drafting support to mechanical design engineers* Create detailed drawings in SolidWorks that accurately reflect engineering design intent* Apply dimensions, GD&T, and technical notes to drawings* Develop exploded views and support assembly-level documentation* Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)* Support documentation processes, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)* Contribute primarily to new product development, with some support for updates to existing designs**Required Qualifications*** Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, with a focus on drafting* Ability to interpret and translate engineering concepts into clear, accurate drawings* Experience creating assemblies, exploded views, and BOMs* Familiarity with engineering documentation processes (ECOs, revision control, etc.)* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering teams* Minimum of 5+ years of relevant drafting experience**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience working with complex assemblies, including reviewing and resolving design issues* Exposure to semiconductor or similar high-precision manufacturing environmentsEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
