Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. in Richland, MS, is seeking a Document Controller in the Customer Order Engineering Department. You will administer and maintain essential documentation, coordinating customer and production documents and supporting printing/plotting services.

Reporting to the Product Engineering Manager, this role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and proactive communication within a collaborative team and with internal partners and external customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience with document control and management preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with printing and plotting services helpful.
• Ability to use MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct versioning and revisioning of documents.
• Assign and manage documents according to various engineering requirements.
• Manage and distribute product documents effectively.
• Prepare documents for customer approval and print workbooks for customer products.
• Check documents for formal aspects to ensure compliance and quality.
• You thrive in a team environment while also being able to work independently.

• You possess knowledge of general manufacturing, product document layout, and plotting/printing services.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with both internal partners and external customers.
• You demonstrate strong oral and written skills and are very detail oriented.
• You thrive in a team environment while also being able to work independently.
• Relevant Associate’s Degree. Preferred
• Ability to use and troubleshoot various printing equipment.
• Familiarity with Document Management Tools (Fiery Command Workstation, Microsoft Office).
• Exposure to AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
