BSA seeks a strategic Director of Engineering to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low‑voltage disciplines, driving technical excellence across healing, learning, and discovery spaces.

You will partner with architecture and planning teams to deliver integrated solutions, mentor staff, and shape the future of engineering at BSA. This senior role requires a proven track record in leading high‑performing teams and delivering profitable projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering; professional licensure required.
• 15+ years of A/E industry experience with proven discipline leadership.
• Strong business acumen; ability to manage metrics like utilization and profitability.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering operations, including staffing, project delivery, and financial performance.
• Lead, manage, and hold Engineering Leads accountable; foster a high-performing, collaborative environment.
• Ensure consistent execution of core project delivery processes; drive quality and client satisfaction.
• Align discipline capacity with project demand; manage utilization, revenue, and growth.
• Partner with firm leadership to identify hiring needs and build a future-ready talent pipeline.
• Mentor and develop staff; place the right people in roles to support career growth.
• Promote ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across the discipline.
