Job summary

Turn Up Talent is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the engineering organization responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of recreational vehicles and related products. This leader will shape strategy and partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and executive leadership to deliver high-quality innovations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, driving NPD, overseeing budgets and timelines, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 10+ years in manufacturing engineering.
B.S. in engineering with 5+ years in leadership and product development.
Experience leading new product development and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the engineering team.
Oversee new product development from concept through production.
Drive product innovation, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support manufacturing through process and product improvements.
Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales on cross-functional initiatives.
Ensure engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, and BOMs are accurate and up to date.
Manage engineering projects, budgets, and timelines.
Evaluate new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods.
Resolve technical and production challenges.
Ensure products meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Develop engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
Present engineering updates and strategic initiatives to executive leadership.
