Job summary

College Board seeks an Engineering Director for Create Core to lead the platform team at the heart of the authoring ecosystem. You will partner with Product to define the roadmap, manage a small team of engineers, and ensure the platform remains coherent and scalable.

You will shape architecture, champion accessibility, and drive delivery while aligning with product and design leadership on future platform directions. This is a remote role with in-office hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in Agile software application development.
• Proven expertise delivering web-based products or platform-level features in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform Leadership & Delivery: set goals, prioritize Core roadmap, and govern platform as a product.
• Guide architecture of shared libraries and services, ensuring developer experience and accessibility.
• Build a highly engaged, high-performing team through effective ceremonies, culture, and growth.
• Collaborate with Product, Principal Engineer, and architects on strategy and platform boundaries.
