John Deere in Illinois invites recent engineering graduates to join the Welding Manufacturing Engineering Development Program. The two-year program features eight-month rotations across Weld OFP Manufacturing Engineering, Fabrication OFP Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling Engineering and PDP— with opportunities to learn weld processes at Midwest locations.
Candidates should be pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's in Welding Engineering or a related field, with a 3.0+ GPA.

The 2027 Weld Manufacturing Engineering Development Program gives recent engineering graduates three experiences over a two year period. The eight-month rotations include assignments in Weld OFP Manufacturing Engineering, Fabrication OFP Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling Engineering and Fabrication or Weld PDP— all possible at John Deere locations in the Midwest. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and execute weld processes within each of these areas.
