We are hiring for Engineering Consultant

(MEP/Chartered Engineer - Building Management Systems (BMS) / Building Automation Systems (BAS))

Location : Hybrid - Birmingham

• Conduct in-depth reviews of servicing strategies developed by design teams, encompassing critical systems such as standby power, UPS systems, life safety systems, lightning protection, lighting, and HVAC systems.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to GPA project managers, advising on complex MEP-related issues as the design evolves.
• Ensure all building services designs and installations align with GPA standards and Employer's Requirements from RIBA Stage 1 through to RIBA Stage 6 and the subsequent defects period.
• Ensure the successful integration of sustainability targets, including BREEAM and NABERS, within building services designs and implementations.
• Should possess extensive experience dealing with large, high-value (£95m+) construction projects
• Deep technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
