Albemarle is seeking a Project Manager- Engineering & Construction to lead sustaining capital projects on site in Silver Peak, NV. You will guide scope development, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with operations, maintenance, and technical teams to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/construction management or related field, plus 5+ years in industrial project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent military/industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in industrial, mining, or heavy infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of capital project planning, budgeting, and execution in remote/resource-based locations.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, environmental regulations, and construction practices in mining operations.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and cost tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects within a $15–$20 million portfolio, overseeing scope development, contracting strategies, and construction activities.
• Collaborate with site operations, maintenance, and technical teams to identify project priorities and optimize scopes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and risk registers; mitigate risks to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Prepare and present project reports, forecasts, and funding requests to leadership and stakeholders.

Job Description

Albemarle is hiring for a Project Manager- Engineering & Construction. This position is located on site in Silver Peak, NV.

What You Will Do

What You Bring
