Job summary

ABB seeks a mid-level manufacturing engineering intern to support process improvements in our Selmer, TN operations. You will assist in efficiency, quality, and safety initiatives, collect data for time studies, and participate in Kaizen events while helping update SOPs and work instructions.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams, contribute to CAD design efforts using SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and document insights for the engineering review.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work onsite or hybrid in Selmer, TN and use CAD tools for design tasks.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Support data collection and analysis for time studies, workflow optimization, and root cause investigations.
