Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking an Engineering Co-op in Central Wisconsin for Jan–Aug or May–Dec. You will rotate across test, manufacturing, product and application engineering, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The program runs full-time (40 hours weekly) with opportunities to work on prototypes, SOPs, product development, and market research. Competitive pay in a structured early-talent experience.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program (Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing or Applied Engineering etc.)
  • On track to graduate in the next 3 semesters or less
  • Interest in hands-on learning
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Experience working with basic hand tools
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (a plus) to expand your technical toolkit and design capabilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to support customer-focused solutions

Responsibilities

  • Test Engineering - building prototypes, conducting tests, and documenting results in our testing lab.
  • Manufacturing Engineering - support daily production, update SOPs, troubleshoot machines, and drive improvements.
  • Product Engineering - guide concepts to market launch, design, test, and oversee production.
  • Application Engineering - conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and assist with software design and testing.

We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering student to join our team as an Engineering Co-op in Central Wisconsin from January to August OR May to December .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Test Engineering - You will be responsible for building prototypes, conducting tests, and documenting results. You will play a key role in developing new products, redesigns, and customer-driven requests, with most of your time spent in our testing lab for a truly hands-on experience.
  • Manufacturing Engineering - Y ou will support daily production by creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, troubleshooting machines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You'll also contribute to layout design and process development to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across our operations.
  • Product Engineering - You will guide our products from initial concept to market launch. This involves designing, testing, and overseeing the production of new and existing products, ensuring they meet market needs and company goals. Working across research, design, and manufacturing, you'll ensure products deliver real value to customers and align with company goals.
  • Application Engineering - You will support product development by conducting market research, analyzing customer needs, and assisting with product selection software design and testing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams - including engineering, product management, marketing, manufacturing, sales, and operations - to improve products, develop training and marketing materials, and contribute to product strategy, customer value, and continuous improvement.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay. The starting base pay range for this position is $22.00/hour - $28.00/hour and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
