Job summary

Schlumberger is seeking a Co-op Engineering Student to join the team under direct supervision of lead and support engineers. You will help ensure design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery documentation are completed on time and with high quality.

The role involves calculations, design reviews, technical documentation, fabrication and testing, and addressing design issues. You will present an end-of-semester update to engineering management and gain hands-on experience across project

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree in Engineering with strong mechanical focus.
• Successful completion of Calculus 2.
• Preferably maintaining a GPA above 3.0.
• Available to work 3 alternating semesters.
• Ability to perform moderately complex calculations, and interpret data.
• Strong problem solving ability.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project engineering activities under lead or support engineer.
• Prepare or correct project technical documentation.
• Inspect and document ship-loose items.
• Compile and organize project load-out and completion binders.
• Participate in product testing activities.
• Present end-of-semester results to engineering management.
