Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Engineering College Co-op in Michigan to support manufacturing and engineering operations. You will engage in daily reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and project-based assignments to build hands-on experience.

The role involves time studies, lean concepts, and preparing performance reports while collaborating with the manufacturing team on efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering degree, full-time at an accredited college or university.
• Graduation date of May 2027 or later.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, year-round.
• Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and cycle time checks.
• Create performance-based reports
• Conduct delay studies to loss areas and help identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist Manufacturing team with implementation of lean concepts in manufacturing and assembly department.
• All other duties as assigned
