Job summary

THP Limited, Inc. seeks an Engineering Co-op/Intern for Spring and Summer 2027 in one of our offices in Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Raleigh.

You will learn through hands-on exposure to structural and architectural projects across commercial, healthcare, higher education, industrial, and public facilities. The ideal candidate is enrolled in Civil or Architectural Engineering, with a background in building materials design, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil or Architectural Engineering program.
• Educational background in the design of various types of building materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in Revit and AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn independently and collaboratively to design new systems and approaches.
• Perform analysis and design of structural systems for various building types.
• Coordinate with in-house staff and other design team members.
• Conduct assessments of existing structures and perform structural observations.

Engineering Co-op/ Intern (CURRENTLY INTERVIEWING FOR SPRING and SUMMER 2027)

THP is always looking for structural and architectural engineering co-op and interning students who want to learn in a challenging and rewarding work environment. This position can be located in either our Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Raleigh office.

Projects include new construction and retrofit in all types of building structures for the industries we serve; commercial, healthcare, higher education, industrial, and public facilities

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Independently and collaboratively learn new systems and approaches to design.
• Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings.
• Communicate and coordinate work with in-house staff as well as other design team members.
• Conduct assessments of existing structures and perform structural observations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil or Architectural Engineering Program
• Educational background in the design of various types of building materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
