Job summary

Cenovus offers a multi‑discipline student co‑op/internship program in Superior, Wisconsin. You will work with Chemical Engineering, Health, Safety & Environmental, and Mechanical/Electrical Engineering teams, performing audits, safety training, and process support while developing practical, field‑level skills.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an engineering degree, with strong analytical abilities and Excel skills, and available to start in May.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a chemical or related engineering degree and returning to full-time studies after the work term.
• New graduates are not eligible; candidates should be available for a May start.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety audits and training delivery when needed.
• Assist in engineering tasks across process, health/safety, and mechanical groups.
• Support data collection, HMIS labeling, and documentation updates.
• Contribute to field engineering activities and plant support tasks.
