Job summary

GE Appliances is seeking an Engineering Co-op in Lafayette, GA. This internship offers hands-on experience, pairing you with a mentor to set goals and deliverables during the rotation.

The Fall 2027 Engineering Co-op runs Aug 16, 2027 to Dec 10, 2027, with relocation assistance available for eligible students. You will work on projects across New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, modeling, and software development while developing technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• May 2028 or later graduation date.
• GPA ≥ 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and offer learning opportunities.
• Complete innovative, technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development.
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance your technical knowledge and professional development.
• Take part in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Optional events will be available both in and out of work, including lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts.
