Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Civil Engineering.
• Understanding or working knowledge of Pro-E and/or AutoCAD experience.
• Microsoft Office experience (including Excel).
• Proficient oral and written communication to convey messages clearly.
• The ability to work 15-20 hours during the school year and full time during school breaks.

Responsibilities

• Designs, validates, and brings new products to market.
• Provide new product development support in generator/power tool areas, including CAD models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Interfacing with internal personnel and supporting product development plans.
• Specifies precise functional requirements; designs and tests components for manufacturability.
• Travel to other Generac facilities as necessary and collaborate with teams.
