StandardAero is seeking motivated engineering students to join our team as interns. You will gain hands-on industry experience, work with CAD and simulation tools, and contribute to improvement projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include researching new programs, updating databases, and performing analyses to drive cost and efficiency gains. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and hands-on learning within a leading aerospace MRO provider.

Qualifications

  • Completion of two years of education in engineering related curriculum.
  • Project Management Experience with CAD and simulation software.
  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • The ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Conduct a failure analysis and investigation.
  • Evaluate and improve efficiency, streamline programs, or cut costs.
  • Perform a study or survey; analyze and present results.
  • Compile employee manuals or develop process directions for tasks.
  • Conduct a cost benefit analysis to upgrade on a specific material/machine.
  • Design tooling or ground support equipment.
  • Work on a continuous improvement project resulting in a measurable improvement.
  • Carries out other duties as assigned

Job Duties:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):


  • Completion of two years of education in engineering related curriculum

  • Project Management Experience with CAD and simulation software

Desired Skills:


  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S Principles

  • Lean Green Belt Certification preferred

  • Project Experience in manufacturing setting preferred

  • The ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints.

  • The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
