Job summary

StandardAero in Hillsboro, OH is seeking a skilled machinist to fabricate and assemble aircraft components with tight tolerances using manual and CNC equipment. You’ll read blueprints, verify dimensions, and maintain inspection records to ensure quality.

You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with overtime required at times. A high school diploma or technical training and CNC/cylindrical grinder experience are preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or technical training.
  • CNC or cylindrical grinder experience would be an asset.
  • Ability to read & understand complex technical instructions and drawings, blueprints, charts and tables.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • High level of efficiency and ability to meet production deadlines.
  • Willing to work overtime as required, including short notice.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
  • Miscellaneous projects on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

Applicable Competencies, Aptitudes And Qualifications
