Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Engineering Co-op to contribute to design support, analysis, documentation, testing, and project coordination. The role emphasizes learning, innovation, and cross-functional exposure across engineering, manufacturing, or operations.

The successful candidate will support End-User Aftermarket Application Engineering and Sales Engineers, developing knowledge of pumps and mechanical seals while collaborating on cost reduction and standardization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a relevant engineering degree in good standing.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort with hands-on, fast-paced, team-oriented environments including office, lab and manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to End-User Aftermarket Application Engineering team and local Sales Engineers.
• Assist with mechanical seals, seal support systems, and pumps initiatives.
• Learn fundamentals of pumps and mechanical seals to support Flowserve activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on cost reduction and process improvement projects.
• Participate in developing standardization initiatives with regional operations leadership.
• Research equipment information per customer requirements.
• Create technical customer-facing final job reports and as-found condition reports.
• Support other duties as assigned.

The Engineering Co-op contributes to technical projects and daily operations through design support, analysis, documentation, testing, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate will be an individual who shows interest in learning and innovation and enjoys being challenged.

Based on business needs and candidateinterests, co-opopportunities may exist within engineering, manufacturing,oroperations.

Potential Responsibilities

Provide supportofEnd-User Aftermarket Application Engineering team and local Sales Engineers in various business activities related to mechanical seals, seal support systems, and pumps. The activities include but not limited to

• Acquirebasic knowledge of pump and mechanical seal fundamentals to support Flowserve activities.
• Supportmanufacturingteam on projects related to cost reduction and process improvement.
• Work with regional operations leadership to develop standardization initiatives.
• Research specific equipment information per customer requirements.
• Create technical customer-facing final job reports and as-found condition reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related curriculum and in good standing.
• Good communicationskills
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced, team-oriented environment that may include office, laboratory, and manufacturing settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability toutilizemeasuring equipment (ie. dial calipers, micrometers,etc.)
• Experience in SolidWorks
