Job summary

IPG is seeking an Engineering Co-Op (Electrical or Mechanical) in Carlstadt, NJ. The role contributes to ongoing engineering projects, troubleshooting activities, and process improvements, under supervision in the Engineering department.

The candidate will assist in resolving production issues, draft or update manuals, and participate in root-cause investigations, while gaining hands-on experience with engineering tools and documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed Electrical or Mechanical Engineering program.
• Fundamental understanding of circuits, electronics, or mechanical systems.
• Able to read technical docs, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently with guidance and in a team.
• Willingness to work hands-on with engineering tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently with guidance and in a team setting.
