Summary:

Kapur is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering CAD Technician to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a key member of our Municipal department, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

Utilize Civil 3D Software to create, modify, and maintain engineering drawings and models for municipal projects.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to support the development of design plans and construction documents.
Ensure that all CAD work complies with local municipality standards and other relevant industry guidelines.
Maintain organized and accurate project files, ensuring version control and document management.
Assist in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and project documentation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards and procedures within the company.
Stay up to date with the latest CAD software updates and technologies to enhance productivity.

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Aided Design or a related field.
2+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
Experience with MicroStation is a plus
Must be able to work in the Milwaukee corporate office 5 days per week.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
