Job summary

Catalent is seeking a 2027 Intern - Engineering, Automation to join our Madison, Wisconsin site. You will support automation projects, assist with operational technology troubleshooting and system maintenance, and learn system design while collecting data and maintaining records in line with company procedures.

This internship offers hands-on experience in automation, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field of study.
Eligible to legally work in the United States.
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a 12-week period over the summer.
Familiarity with industrial or laboratory control systems.
Ability to read electrical and instrumentation drawings.

Responsibilities

Support automation and operational technology projects, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and system design activities.
Collect, analyze, document, and maintain accurate data and records in compliance with company procedures.
Follow all safety, quality, compliance, and 5S workplace standards while maintaining 5S organization.
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners, actively participating in meetings and project discussions.
Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives while completing assigned projects and presenting progress or results.
