DOT&PF in Alaska seeks an Engineering Assistant 1/2 Flex to help keep Alaska moving. This role is open to Alaska residents only.

Under the general supervision of lead engineers or a registered professional engineer, you will support traffic and safety studies, apply engineering principles and established standards to improve road safety across the Central Region. OT eligibility included.

Base salary information is provided as hourly rates: $33.76 for EA1 and $38.91 for EA2, with OT eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Under the general supervision of lead-level engineers or a registered professional engineer, you will support efforts to reduce serious injuries and fatalities on public roads throughout the Central Region.
• You will apply engineering principles and established standards to conduct traffic and safety studies.
