Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking motivated Engineering Interns for a summer program in Houston. The internship focuses on gaining hands-on experience across our energy assets portfolio, including gathering, processing, treating, transmission, storage and export of natural gas and liquids.

Interns will participate in process simulations and system modeling, perform basic measurements and sizing calculations, and support field operations at pipeline, storage, and terminal sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering and progressing through sophomore level coursework.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computing tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with the energy assets portfolio, including gas and liquids processing, transmission, storage, and export.
• Assist with process simulation, system modeling, gas/flow measurements, pipe and vessel sizing calculations, and equipment maintenance tasks.
• Support day-to-day field operations across pipelines, storage facilities, and terminals.
