Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. in Warwick, RI, is seeking an Engineering & Technology Manager to lead the site's engineering organization, drive manufacturing performance, develop new technologies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work with Operations, Product Marketing, Quality, and Sales to strengthen competitiveness, support new business opportunities, and execute strategic initiatives at our Warwick facility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Semiconductor, thin film, microelectronics, precision manufacturing, or related industry experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical process control and quality systems preferred.
• Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies preferred.

Our Specialty Thin Film Division develops highly engineered custom thin film products for customers with demanding technical and reliability requirements. We are seeking an Engineering & Technology Manager to join our leadership team and help drive the next phase of growth and operational excellence at our Warwick, Rhode Island facility.

Position Summary

The Engineering & Technology Manager provides leadership for the site's engineering organization and plays a key role in improving manufacturing performance, supporting customers, developing new technologies, and driving continuous improvement.

This position combines engineering leadership with business leadership. Working closely with Operations, Product Marketing, Quality, and Sales, you will help improve manufacturing capability, develop innovative technical solutions, support new business opportunities, and execute initiatives that strengthen the competitiveness of the business.
