Job description

We are currently hiring for the position of Facilities and Maintenance Manager at our Indianapolis, IN location. Our organization is experiencing rapid growth and has gained recognition for our exceptional high-speed packaging operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing equipment reliability, process engineering, automation, controls, employee development, and equipment upgrades and design. You will report directly to the Director of Engineering.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold a BS degree in Engineering, and having an MBA or Master of Engineering Management is a plus.
• We require 10-15 years of progressive and diverse experience in Engineering and Maintenance Management, with a minimum of 5 years in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
• Candidates must have a strong background in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, maintenance programs, equipment installation, and automation.
• Interpersonal skills and a proven track record of teamwork, leadership, adaptability, coaching, and initiative are crucial for this role.
• Applicants must be able to read electrical schematics, P&ID, construction drawings, and other related work documents.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance program management, GMPs, and SOPs is required.
• Previous experience in maintenance management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of project management and tracking software / tools is preferred.
• Experience with installing new lines / equipment or plant start-ups will be a plus.
• High-speed packaging equipment experience is a requirement for this position.
• Aseptic experience is highly preferred.
• Candidates must be detail-oriented and have prior experience in P&L and budget management.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential.
• Candidates must possess visual acuity to accurately document company records.
