Airborne Systems Inc. seeks an Engineering Analyst II to support design, development, testing, and validation of parachute systems and related components.
The role develops computational models, evaluates system performance, and interprets test data to meet program objectives and customer requirements. The position is independent yet collaborative, with opportunities to provide technical guidance and contribute across engineering, program management, manufacturing, and quality teams.
The Engineering Analyst II performs engineering analyses supporting the design, development, testing, and validation of experimental, prototype, production parachutes, deployment systems, and related components. This position develops computational models, evaluates system performance, interprets test data, and prepares technical documentation to support program objectives and customer requirements.
The Engineering Analyst II works independently on moderately complex assignments and collaborates with design engineering, test engineering, program management, manufacturing, quality, and other technical functions. The position may provide technical guidance to less experienced team members but has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Periodic travel may be required to support program and business activities, including supplier visits, product testing, customer meetings, program reviews, technical evaluations, and other project-related activities.

This position requires work in a variety of environments, including office, shop floor, field, supplier, test, and customer locations, both domestic and international. While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be exposed to static electricity, explosives under controlled test conditions, fumes, airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and office environments that are air-conditioned and heated. The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate but may occasionally be high. Appropriate personal protective equipment and adherence to applicable safety procedures may be required depending on the work location and activity.

Pay Range: $95k – $115k
