Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking an Analyst to perform technical tasks under supervision in support of nuclear plant operations.

You will ensure engineering products comply with safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements, while supporting outage activities and emergency response as needed. The role is entry-level with a minimum salary around $76,000 per year, plus a competitive benefits package including a bonus program and 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field is required.
• At least 1 year of nuclear or related industry experience with an associate’s degree.
• Nuclear access requirements and medical/exam clearances must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and technical tasks under supervision in support of nuclear plant operations.
• Ensure engineering products meet safety analyses, codes, engineering specs and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to implementing processes and procedures with appropriate detail and compliance.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as needed by management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non-engineer)

Associate’s degree in a technical degree + 1 year nuclear/related experience

High school diploma/GED + 2 years nuclear experience

Expected salary range:

• Entry Level - $76,000

Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for performing technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications and all regulatory requirements.
• Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision
• Support nuclear engineering work functions.
• Participate in the implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuing company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Assoc Engineering Analyst/E01

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non-engineer) OR
• Associate’s degree in a technical degree and a minimum of 1 year of nuclear or related industry experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of nuclear experience
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
