Job summary

Seattle City Light is hiring three Engineering Aides to join a team of professional engineers and support staff at the South Service Center in Seattle. These entry-level roles focus on non-professional engineering tasks, such as interpreting documents, drafting, and handling work orders while supporting Joint Use and Wood Pole Design.

You'll help with billing, ROW permits, customer applications, reporting, and field support as needed.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of high school mathematics including trigonometry.
• Commitment to creating fair and equitable outcomes in work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Issue and maintain work orders.
• Process and manage ROW permits and customer applications.
• Generate billing reports and ensure invoices are assigned to correct work orders.
• Assist with intake, processing, and management of as-built drawings.
• Support field operations, permitting, inspections, and issue resolution.
