Job summary

College of Charleston invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses in systems engineering, electrical engineering, and core engineering subjects. The department seeks instructors to cover areas including circuits, CAD, and fundamentals of engineering.

Successful candidates will hold a graduate degree in engineering or related field with relevant coursework and will provide engaging instruction, grading, and mentoring to students in a growing program.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree in engineering, or a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Teach ENGR 103 Fundamentals of Engineering and related courses.
• Cover undergraduate systems engineering and core engineering subjects.
• Prepare lectures, assignments, and assessments.
• Assist with course planning and student support.
• Contribute to department instructional needs in listed areas.
• Advise students on coursework and careers.
• Maintain established College of Charleston teaching standards.
