As an Engineered Solutions Business Database Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain product database systems supporting business operations. You will combine database development skills with analytical expertise to extract insights and improve data workflows across departments. You will report to the Sr. Director of Product Management and Growth. This is a remote role within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and data models supporting business processes and reporting requirements
• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for data integration, transformation, and analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and trends
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security through validation checks and best practices
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements
• Maintain documentation for database structures, workflows, and processes
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data issues
• Work with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business goals

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in relevant roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
• Proven experience with database development (SQL Server, MySQL, or similar)
• Strong SQL programming skills; experience with ETL processes and data integration
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and reporting
• Understanding of business operations, KPIs, and financial metrics
