Target in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an Engineer – Trend Brain Team (Backend/GenAI) to join a hybrid engineering model. You will help design robust, scalable software components powering trend intelligence and automated research workflows.

As an engineer, you’ll integrate new trend signals, deploy agentic workflows with data scientists, and deliver transparent results to merchants and designers while advancing your GenAI expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Familiar with GenAI and evolving GenAI ecosystem.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.

Responsibilities

• Integrate new sources of trend signals into the multi-agent trend-sensing ecosystem.
• Deploy, scale and maintain agentic workflows with data scientists.
• Provide traditional and agentic capabilities to merchants, trend researchers and designers.
