People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks an Engineer Systems III in Newport, RI to provide senior engineering leadership for network, telephone, and media infrastructure design and integration. A SECRET clearance is required to work across NUWCDIVNPT and remote sites.

The role involves leading design efforts, performing feasibility studies, and reviewing engineering deliverables while ensuring compliance with security controls and SECNAV M-5239.2 regulations.

Qualifications

• Senior engineering expertise in network, telephone, or media systems.
• DoD IAT Level 3 requirements and SECNAV 5239.2 compliance.
• CCNA/CCNP, Linux+, and IDS training are required.
• DoD IA Level 3 certifications (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP) preferred.

Position Title: Engineer Systems III Location: Newport, RI Clearance required: SECRET Scope of Work: Provides senior engineering support and technical leadership for network, telephone, and media infrastructure design, integration, and feasibility studies across NUWCDIVNPT and remote sites.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Lead network, telephone, and media engineering design and system integration
• Design classified and unclassified network and VTC architectures and security controls
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and improvement recommendations
• Provide senior technical review of engineering deliverables
• This position is designated Key Personnel. Incumbent must be a DoD-Approved Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 3 individual (for example CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, or GCIH).
• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
• Senior engineering expertise in network, telephone, or media systems
• Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
• Must hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Linux+, and Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Protection training
