Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern to join our teams and help improve infrastructure across our U.S. offices. You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (freshman or sophomore preferred) and possess a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required or preferred. You will work under senior engineers on routine calculations, data analysis of rainfall and flow, obtaining drawings from municipalities, and developing spreadsheet

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
• Perform data analysis of rainfall and flow data.
• Copy and scan project drawings.
• Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools.
• Work with project managers and engineers and take direction from them.
• Work with the Planning department.
• Work with the Design (structural) department.
• Work with the Hydraulic and Hydrology department.
• Communicate effectively with engineering staff and clients.
• Maintain excellent client relations.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Position Description:

We are looking for an Engineering Summer Intern to join our teams to improve infrastructure in our various offices across the United States. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering (freshman or sophomore status preferred) and possess a valid driver's license. Other types of Engineering degrees will also be considered. Familiarity of Microsoft Office is required. The candidate must be self-motivated, work well with others, and have strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills.
