Arizona State University seeks an experienced Senior Engineer with expertise in power distribution systems for a mission critical manufacturing/datacenter setting. You will interface as owner’s rep to Salt River Project and manage 12kV/4,170V systems, ensure code compliance, and review electrical distribution design.
Candidate should be a registered PE in AZ or eligible within six months, with strong knowledge of NEC, IBC, and Bluebeam for drawing reviews.
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field including two (2) years managerial experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Facilities Development and Management, FM KE Facilities Services, MacroTechnology Works (MTW), seeks an experienced Senior Engineer with knowledge of Power Distribution systems within a robust mission critical manufacturing environment, specifically either Semiconductor Manufacturing or Mission Critical Datacenter facilities. This person will have specific working knowledge in interfacing owner’s representative to Salt River Project. The Senior Engineer will have experience with 12KV and 4,170V distribution systems.
The desired candidate should be a registered professional engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona (or able to obtain registration within six months of hire) and highly knowledgeable with the International Building Codes and the National Electrical Code, specifically with application in “H Type” occupancies. Must be proficient in the use of Bluebeam to help with drawing development and design reviews.
Days and Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. May be required to work extended daily or weekend hours depending on activities at site.
This position is based at ASU’s MacroTechnology Work’s site and may require working from other campuses depending on operational needs.
$140,000 to $150,000 annually. ASU offers a comprehensive benefits package with the State of Arizona.
