Job summary

Red Ventures Puerto Rico is seeking a Software Engineer to join a hybrid team based in Santure office (San Juan, PR) with in-office Tue-Thu and remote Mon, Fri.

You will research and prototype using TypeScript, NextJS, Python; build APIs on AWS/GCP; explore AI frameworks and OpenAI. You’ll collaborate across teams to translate research findings into technical strategies and rapidly iterate prototypes in cloud environments.

• Proficient in React and React Native (typescript).
• Solid experience in API development and AWS and Google Cloud.
• Interest in OpenAI, Anthropic, LangGraph, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Growth mindset and ability to learn in a tech-driven environment.

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our Santure office (San Juan, PR) (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of technical innovation:

• Research and prototype next-generation solutions using modern tech stacks (TypeScript, NextJS, Python) to validate technical hypotheses and prove concepts before production
• Experiment with emerging AI frameworks, tools, and architectures-build POCs that push the boundaries of what's possible
• Design and implement experimental services and APIs that serve as technical foundations for future product innovations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable technical strategies
• Rapidly iterate on prototypes using cloud infrastructure (Terraform/AWS CDK) while maintaining flexibility for pivots
• Drive technical discovery through hands-on coding, measurement, and analysis-moving from idea to validated proof-of-concept
• Work autonomously on ambiguous problems where the solution path isn't clear, using agile principles to manage uncertainty

• Technical Skills: Solid experience in API development and Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud.

Compensation

Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.
