Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC seeks driven individuals to build leaders on high-profile, technically demanding projects. You will gain early responsibility through formal training, mentorship, and exposure to project management, field operations, and business support.

As an Engineer-in-training, you’ll learn by doing on live projects, with emphasis on budgeting, estimating, scheduling, logistics, safety, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) or a master's degree, with an expected graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Interest and passion for the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Support project management to understand day-to-day and long-term financial management.
• Review gross billings, track change orders, and subcontractor requisitions.
• Manage the submittals, RFIs, and material tracking process.
• Assist subcontractors to plan for successful field installation.
• Learn site logistics and ensure quality and safety on jobsites.
• Monitor tradeworkers and safety and quality of work.
• Assist with schedule management and site logistics.
• Resolve unforeseen challenges in installation, schedule, and trade coordination.
• Understand how we acquire work, develop strategies, budgeting, estimating, purchasing.
• Review initial contract documents, solicit, and provide preliminary evaluations of subcontractor bids.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, prepare overall bid proposals, and price labor/materials.
• Collaborate to execute subcontractor agreements and manage relationships.
• Explore essential business operations to gain a holistic view of Clark.
